  • 20 minutes Phone call or face to face - An opportunity for you to explain your project to me and for me to discuss the process going forward and answer any questions you might have.

  • 60mins Face to Face meeting in your home or via zoom

  • Small survey of key items & space

  • Discuss your ideas, vision and aspiration

  • Analyse your existing space

  • Review your aspirations and current layout

  • Assess possible layout changes to improve function

  • Draw up layout changes for you to study and choose from

1.   Who is this service for?

This is ideal for anyone planning layout changes in their home, whether it is a re-gig of your existing furniture, internal alterations or planning an extension.

2.   When should you book it?

Ideally book this as soon as your planning works to your home. If you already have an idea of what you want to achieve but need help finalising your floor plans.

3.   I already have architectural drawings do you need these?

Yes please, these will help me understand your existing space and work with the proposals already in place. Depending on the scale of your works it would be helpful if you already have plans showing the existing drainage and any fixed joinery.

4.   What are the benefits of this service

Benefits might include: Making better use of space, improving the flow of spaces, ideas for furniture layouts and how to use the space, discussing alternative options, zoning and spatial design as well as helping you sleep at night knowing you've made the right decision.

5.   How long will it take to get our proposed plans?

It will depend on a few things such as how big your property is and how many floors you need help with. Approximate timescale for one floor is 2 weeks.

6.   We have no existing floor plan?

In most cases we can find a floor plan of your house on the estate agents website. In the case where you do not have any floor plans, we will need to add an additional site survey.

7.    I have received the proposed plans, but I want to change something can you re draw the plan ?

Absolutely, you will have an option for one revision within 1 week post proposed plans being delivered. After the revision you will have the option to add another floor plan at an additional cost.

8. Can you offer Architectural and structural engineer advice?

I’m afraid I can not as I am not qualified to, however I will be able to tell you if you would require their services to further complete your designs.
